The 1st of January of 2001, Serge Atia created Biofinesse with one goal : « make kids eat organic, natural and healthy foods ». This was done through an educative process talking about environment, sustainable development and fair trade. Nowadays, Biofinesse works with 150 suppliers and offers more than 1100 products (fresh, dry, frozen) in packaging done for foodservices. To those who deny organic foods because of the costs, Serge Atia says that he is able to deliver schools for 1.50 a meal. Regarding supplies, he can deliver to small restaurants like central cooking facilities (25 000 to 30 000 meal/day). After its first platform in Paris, Biofinesse (1.6 millions euros of sales) gets a new plant in Toulouse on 2300m².
