The society Biofinesse from Toulouse has just celebrated its 5 years old by dedicating its new platform next to Toulouse. Created by Serge Atia on a growing sector, organic foods, this society has developed a new activity for what it is the first company in France: deliver organic food to collectivities.
We have to notice that the Midi-Pyrénées area is the first region regarding organic productions, with almost 1200 producers, 62000 hectares, a wide range of products and modern processing plants. Regarding foodservices, it represents 3 billions meals a year. Our challenge is to offer to collectivities and foodservices quality products without increasing prices too much but with an excellent traceability through the AB charter controlled by AGROCERT. We also want to educated kids: make them eat healthy and natural foods, educate them about the environment, nutritional balance and sustainable development.
With 10 employees, Biofinesses sales reached 1.6M, which 50% was in the Paris area.
